What Community creates
A successful Community upload creates an unclaimed Community Box, its first immutable Release, and a live hosted URL. The upload is rate-limited and checked for archive safety.
You can submit a ZIP with index.html at its root or select static files in the browser. Browser-selected files are normalized into the same ZIP deployment path while preserving relative paths.
Publish and save the claim token
- Open Community and choose ZIP package or Files & folders.
- Provide the static project and confirm the entry file when the browser asks for it.
- Publish the site and open the returned hosted URL.
- Save the claim token immediately. It is shown once and has an expiry time.
- Create or sign in to an account, then submit the token through the Claim Box flow to manage the Box in the Dashboard.
Tips and limits
- Claiming transfers ownership to a Free Box without redeploying, changing the URL, or changing Release history.
- Community and Free stable HTML include HTMBox attribution.
- Automatic Community expiry or deletion is not active yet.
After claiming
The claimed Box appears in the Author Boxes area. From there, use the normal Box editor for future deployment, settings, Releases, and analytics.
